# Flagship Strategies

Tilt Protocol's flagship strategies are six politician-tracking vaults that automatically mirror the stock portfolios of U.S. Congress members. These vaults demonstrate the full power of the platform — automated data ingestion, on-chain oracle updates, real-time rebalancing, and transparent investor access.

## Why Politicians?

Under the STOCK Act, members of Congress are required to disclose their stock trades within 45 days. Research has shown that these disclosures often signal informed trading — politicians' portfolios have historically outperformed the S\&P 500.

Tilt's flagship vaults turn this public data into investable, on-chain strategies. They serve as proof that the protocol can power real, automated, alpha-generating funds.

## How They Work

1. **Data Ingestion**: A backend service polls the House Stock Watcher API for new trade disclosures
2. **Processing**: Trades are normalized and converted into portfolio weights (basis points)
3. **Oracle Update**: Weights are published to the `PortfolioOracle` contract on-chain
4. **Rebalancing**: Vaults detect weight changes and automatically rebalance to match
5. **Investor Access**: Anyone can deposit tiltUSDC into these vaults and gain exposure

The entire pipeline is automated — no human intervention required after initial setup.
